Social Media Creative Strategist — Paid Social Video

About the Role

We're a fast-growing US company that advertises with short-form direct-response video, and we're looking for a Creative Strategist who can own the creative pipeline end to end. You'll understand our buyer deeply, turn that understanding into scroll-stopping hooks and scripts, produce organic content that builds our brand, and run the production process so our founder only has to show up and speak on camera.

This is not a role for someone who wants to be handed a brief and fill in blanks. You'll be the person who decides what we create and why. You'll work directly with the founder, who will train you on our buyer and our voice during an in-person onboarding, then trust you to run the machine.

What You'll Own

  • Audience intelligence: Study our sales calls and buyer research to build and maintain a living Voice-of-Customer document — the pains, objections, and exact language our buyers use.
  • Paid creative: Produce a high volume of hooks, angles, and full video scripts each week, drawn from real buyer language and iterated against ad performance.
  • Organic content: Create organic short-form content that grows our audience and drives inbound — this is a core part of the role, not an afterthought.
  • Pre-production: Turn approved scripts into shot lists and B-roll specs so filming is fast and repeatable.
  • Production hand-off: Brief the video editor with clear, simple instructions and QC the final cuts against a locked template.
  • Iteration: Track which creative works, kill what doesn't, and feed insights back into the next batch.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record: 3+ years in creative strategy or performance-creative for paid social (Meta especially). Direct-response experience strongly preferred.
  • Real judgment: You can look at a piece of copy and know within seconds whether the hook will land. You understand awareness levels and how to write to a specific buyer.
  • Portfolio: You've written short-form video ads that performed, and you can show them to us.
  • Excellent English: Fully fluent, written and spoken. Our buyers are US business owners and you'll write in their voice.
  • Self-directed: You take raw source material and turn it into finished creative without needing to be managed line by line.

Compensation

This role rewards performance. Strong creators here earn well above a typical LATAM salary.

  • Base: $4,000 USD/month, full-time.
  • Output & quality bonus: Up to $3,000/month for hitting your creative volume targets and beating our performance baselines. Reliable and earnable every month you do great work.
  • Monthly performance bonus: Up to $3,000/month earned by hitting monthly targets for qualified organic engagement (saves, profile visits, inbound) and overall results. Resets and is earnable fresh each month.
  • Realistic total: $4,000 base guaranteed, scaling to $10,000+ USD/month for a top performer.

Full bonus mechanics are shared and finalized on the offer call.

Logistics

  • Location: Remote, based anywhere in Latin America with strong overlap with US business hours.
  • Travel: You'll travel to meet the founder in person once or twice per quarter for in-person filming sessions and creative planning. Travel is covered. The first onboarding visit is an intensive where we build the foundations of the role together.
