A growing law firm specializing in Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income cases. The team supports clients through the entire process—from initial application to appeals—while handling a high volume of intake, scheduling, and client communication. As the firm expands, they are seeking reliable and detail-oriented professionals to join their client relations team and uphold a high standard of service.



💼 About the Role:

The client is seeking a Legal Assistant to support both intake and client relations. This role includes handling incoming calls, screening and qualifying leads, scheduling consultations, and assisting with client questionnaires and documentation. You will also maintain ongoing communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout their case journey. Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, and thrive in a structured yet fast-paced environment.


📋 Key Responsibilities:

📂 Case Coordination and Follow-Up

🗂️ CRM and Data Management

  • Handle incoming calls from prospective and existing clients

  • Screen and qualify new leads using internal questionnaires

  • Schedule appointments for intake consultations

  • Provide updates and general support to active clients

  • Track application status and follow up with relevant parties

  • Confirm receipt of submissions with Social Security offices

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout their case lifecycle

  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions

  • Update case information and documentation in the system

  • Ensure proper organization of client files and data


✅ Qualifications & Skills:

🔹 Must Have:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow structured processes

  • Comfortable handling high-volume client interactions

  • Availability to work full time Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time

  • High level of integrity and accountability


    ⭐ Preferred:

  • Experience in Social Security Disability, Veterans Affairs, Personal Injury, or Workers Compensation cases

  • Associate’s Degree or higher (law-related education is a plus but not required)

  • Experience in fast-paced or high-volume legal environments

  • Familiarity with CRM or case management systems
