The company partners closely with tournament organizers and charity committees to help events generate additional revenue while delivering memorable participant experiences. The business is well established, highly reputable, and renews the majority of its events year over year. Growth is driven by proactive outreach, consistent follow-up, and long-term relationship building with key decision makers.

About the Role:

          The Cold Calling and Lead Generation Specialist will support business growth through outbound cold calling and lead generation focused on charity golf tournaments and related events. The primary objective of this role is to initiate conversations, qualify opportunities, and book meetings for the owner to close. This is a client-facing position that requires confidence on the phone, resilience, and the ability to think critically during live conversations without sounding scripted.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Make a high volume of outbound cold calls to charity golf tournament directors, committee members, and event organizers
  • Target approximately 30 to 50 outbound calls per day depending on hours worked
  • Research and identify upcoming charity golf tournaments and relevant events
  • Build and maintain lead lists using tournament flyers, websites, social media, and online images
  • Proactively source phone numbers and decision-maker contact information
  • Qualify prospects based on event fit, timing, and interest level
  • Book qualified meetings for the owner to present and close
  • Execute consistent multi-touch follow-up with leads
  • Confidently handle gatekeepers and initial objections
  • Address objections related to cost or competition by positioning the service as a revenue-generating opportunity
  • Log calls, notes, follow-ups, and meetings accurately in Monday.com
  • Maintain clean and organized CRM records for reporting and performance tracking
  • Support basic administrative and data entry tasks related to lead generation

  • Professional, confident, and trust-building phone presence with U.S.-based prospects
  • Prior experience in cold calling, outbound sales, lead generation, or appointment setting
  • Strong lead research and prospecting skills using public and online sources
  • Experience using CRMs or task management tools, preferably Monday.com
  • Strong time management and organizational skills without the need for micromanagement
  • Near-native English proficiency with clear pronunciation and strong listening comprehension
