ROLE OVERVIEW
About the Client:
This health-tech and nutrition organization provides concierge-level, science-based guidance for individuals struggling with chronic digestive conditions. By combining the expertise of GI-specialist dietitians with advanced stool profiling and a holistic focus on the gut-brain axis, the company helps clients move beyond generic advice to uncover the root causes of their symptoms. Their multidisciplinary team—which includes experts in nutrition, mindset, and psychology—is dedicated to empowering clients to regain dietary freedom and improve their quality of life through personalized, clinically-proven protocols.
About the Role:
We are looking for a high-energy, disciplined, and empathetic Appointment Setter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the first point of human contact for many of our leads, helping them navigate our educational resources and securing their path toward our life-changing programs.
This is a high-volume, performance-driven role requiring roughly 150+ dials per day. You will succeed if you have a "warm and bubbly" personality, can build immediate rapport with an older demographic, and possess the resilience to handle the high-activity nature of outbound calling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management: Call leads who have opted into our webinars to encourage attendance and follow up with those who missed the session.
- Pipeline Optimization: Reach out to individuals who completed or started a health assessment but did not schedule a sales call.
- Conversion: Engage with webinar attendees who stayed until the pitch but didn't book a call, answering basic questions and bridging the trust gap.
- CRM Management: Utilize Close CRM to track lead status, manage tasks, and ensure no prospect falls through the cracks.
- Performance: Consistently meet or exceed daily dialing targets and weekly appointment-setting benchmarks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in appointment setting or outbound sales is highly desirable. We are looking for someone who understands the rhythm of a sales role and has already moved past the initial learning curve.
- Communication: Exceptional English verbal skills. While a slight accent is perfectly acceptable, the ability to sound "local" to a US-based audience (55+) and use natural lingo is essential for building trust.
- Personality: A "warm, bubbly," and patient demeanor. You must be able to handle skepticism with grace and empathy.
- Discipline: The "grit" to handle high volume (150+ dials) and maintain a positive attitude throughout the shift.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software (experience with Close CRM is a plus) and prepared to adapt to new dialer software.
