About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and creative Marketing and Branding Strategist who can lead both marketing strategy and execution across multiple platforms.
This person will collaborate directly with leadership to transform storytelling, brand messaging, and creative ideas into structured campaigns that drive engagement and sales without losing authenticity. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing structure with flexibility, as content priorities may shift quickly based on real-time events, creative projects, or business goals.
This role combines strategy, content execution, engagement, and performance tracking, along with hands-on management of Shopify website updates to maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints. It is ideal for someone who enjoys both planning and hands-on creative work.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Brand Development
Develop and execute monthly marketing strategies aligned with storytelling, activism, and sales goals
Participate in strategy meetings to understand upcoming initiatives and content priorities
Translate creative direction into structured social media plans and campaigns
Support ongoing brand evolution and positioning across platforms
Content Planning & Execution
Plan weekly content calendars aligned with business goals and upcoming events
Edit and produce content using provided media, including reels, short-form videos, and posts
Repurpose existing content into engaging social media formats
Maintain flexibility to adjust plans when new content opportunities arise
Engagement & Community Management
Monitor comments, messages, and interactions across platforms
Respond to DMs and comments while maintaining brand voice and tone
Support lead generation by encouraging engagement and directing audiences toward next steps
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track campaign performance, engagement metrics, and growth trends
Present insights and recommendations based on analytics
Identify opportunities to improve storytelling impact and conversion results
Marketing Support & Growth Initiatives
Assist with email marketing campaigns and promotional launches
Help improve lead flow from social media into internal systems
Collaborate with leadership to test new ideas, trends, and creative approaches
Manage and update Shopify website content to ensure alignment with current brand messaging and creative direction
Upload new collections, update product descriptions, and maintain visual consistency across the site
Update homepage content, bio sections, and imagery to reflect evolving brand positioning
Ensure website content stays aligned with ongoing campaigns, storytelling initiatives, and product launches
Qualifications & Skills
Must Have
Proven experience managing social media strategy and execution for a brand or business
Strong understanding of storytelling-driven marketing
Background in branding, marketing strategy, or creative campaigns
Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
Experience working inside Shopify for website updates, collection uploads, and content management
Familiarity with email marketing and campaign planning
Experience with Canva and social media scheduling platforms
Ability to interpret business goals and translate them into marketing strategies
Strong English communication skills
Preferred
Experience working with creative brands, artists, or personal brands
Experience with Loomly or similar content planning tools
Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments
