Our client is a growing residential cleaning services business based in the Washington, D.C. area, operating with a remote-first model and a team of independent cleaners. The business currently completes 60–70 cleanings per month, generating approximately $15K in monthly revenue. With strong early traction, the company is now looking to scale operations, improve responsiveness to leads, and increase overall efficiency. The founders are actively involved but aim to step back from day-to-day operations by building a reliable and proactive remote team.

About the Role: 💼
We are looking for a highly proactive and results-driven Operations & Sales Coordinator to support both revenue growth and day-to-day operations. This role will focus on managing inbound and outbound leads, closing new clients, and ensuring timely follow-up to maximize conversions. Additionally, you will provide operational support by coordinating with cleaners, assisting with scheduling, and helping resolve service-related issues. The ideal candidate takes ownership, thinks critically, and actively contributes ideas to improve processes and drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities 

Lead Management & Sales 📞

  • Handle inbound leads from phone calls, website inquiries, and platforms such as Google LSA and Yelp
  • Respond quickly to inquiries and follow up consistently to maximize conversion rates
  • Close new clients and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to booking
  • Track and report daily sales activity, including leads, conversions, and missed opportunities

Outbound Prospecting & Growth 🚀

  • Conduct cold outreach to potential partners such as realtors and property managers
  • Monitor and engage in local platforms such as Facebook groups and Nextdoor to generate and close leads
  • Support outbound campaigns including cold calling and email follow-ups
  • Identify new opportunities to increase lead flow and client acquisition

Operations & Scheduling Support 📅

  • Coordinate scheduling of cleanings using booking systems
  • Communicate with cleaners regarding job assignments, updates, and issues
  • Act as a bridge between clients and cleaners to resolve scheduling conflicts or service concerns
  • Assist in ensuring smooth daily operations and service delivery

Process Improvement & Reporting 📊

  • Provide daily and weekly performance reports on sales and operations
  • Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to workflows and systems
  • Support implementation of new tools, automations, and processes to scale the business

Qualifications & Skills 🎯

Must Have ✔️

  • Proven experience in sales, lead management, or customer-facing roles
  • Experience working with residential cleaning or home services businesses
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills with a neutral accent
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound leads, including phone-based communication
  • Ability to multitask between sales activities and operational coordination
  • Experience working with CRM or scheduling tools
  • Availability to work full-time in EST business hours

Preferred 

  • Familiarity with tools such as Booking Koala, GoHighLevel, OpenPhone, or similar platforms
  • Experience with cold outreach, including cold calling or cold emailing
  • Background in coordinating field teams or service-based operations
  • Experience with content creation and social media posting
  • Fluent in Spanish (verbal and written)
