About the Client:
The client is a fitness company providing high-energy programs for seniors, including on-site, virtual, and pre-recorded classes. They run specialty programs for Parkinson’s and dementia patients and organize adventure travel experiences. The client is focused on expanding reach through B2B partnerships and marketing strategies, engaging seniors across different regions. They are also expanding their B2C clientele. With a team of around 50 part-time instructors, the client is dedicated to keeping seniors active, engaged, and living their best life.
About the Role:
The Sales Support Specialist will drive lead generation, prospecting, and sales development initiatives. The role includes identifying potential clients, managing outreach campaigns, following up on leads, and supporting the sales process from initial contact to closing. This position requires flexibility, critical thinking, and initiative to optimize workflows and ensure alignment with business objectives. It is a part-time role starting at 10–15 hours per week, with potential to increase to 20 hours, and the opportunity for future commission-based incentives
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation
- Research and identify potential leads using LinkedIn, social media, and existing lead lists.
- Conduct outreach to prospects via email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Track and follow up on leads to ensure engagement and qualification.
Sales Development
- Support appointment setting and coordinate meetings with qualified leads.
- Assist in nurturing leads using pre-existing email and blog templates.
- Ensure all communication with prospects aligns with sales objectives.
- Support the sales process by preparing materials and coordinating with the sales team.
CRM and Process Support
- Manage CRM tasks, including data entry, updates, and basic automation in Ivorey, which is based off of GoHighLevel.
- Maintain accurate lead tracking and report on sales activity.
- Suggest improvements to lead generation and sales processes to optimize performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Must
- Exceptional communication and persuasion skills over the phone.
- Experience generating and following up on leads.
- Ability to manage email outreach and blog scheduling to support sales.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow structured sales processes.
- Critical thinking to identify opportunities and suggest improvements.
Preferred
- Previous experience in sales development or appointment setting.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like Ivorey and GoHighLevel.
- Experience using email templates and basic content to nurture leads.
- Understanding of sales automation and funnels.
