As the business continues to grow, they are looking to strengthen their digital presence and expand e-commerce growth through more strategic and structured marketing efforts.

About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing and Social Media Strategist who can take ownership of the client’s digital presence and transform ideas into engaging, results-driven marketing initiatives.

This role focuses on content planning, social media management, content creation, and email marketing while maintaining the brand’s authentic voice and storytelling approach. You will work closely with the business owners to develop weekly and monthly marketing strategies, create compelling content, and maintain consistent audience engagement across multiple platforms.

This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role with strong growth potential as the business continues to expand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Content Planning & Marketing Strategy

Collaborate with the owners to plan weekly and monthly content calendars
Translate business ideas into structured and engaging marketing campaigns
Align content with seasonal themes, product launches, and storytelling initiatives
Maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms

  1. Social Media Management

Create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms
Monitor social media trends and adapt content to remain engaging and relevant
Manage audience engagement, including comments, messages, and interactions
Track social media performance and provide recommendations for optimization

  1. Content Creation & Brand Storytelling

Design and produce high-quality visual and written content
Edit photos and videos to align with the brand’s aesthetic and tone
Provide guidance on content capture, presentation, and storytelling
Ensure content highlights both products and the overall customer experience

  1. Email Marketing & Customer Engagement

Create and manage newsletters and email marketing campaigns
Translate ideas into visually appealing and structured email content
Support customer engagement through ongoing communication initiatives
Help strengthen relationships with existing customers and community members

  1. E-commerce & Brand Growth Support

Support initiatives focused on driving online sales and website engagement
Align marketing campaigns with e-commerce goals and promotions
Identify opportunities to improve customer journey and conversion rates
Contribute creative ideas to strengthen brand awareness and customer retention

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Must Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role
  • Proven experience creating and executing content strategies
  • Strong content creation skills, including photo and video editing
  • Experience managing social media platforms and analyzing performance metrics
  • Experience with email marketing and newsletter creation
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently

Preferred:

  • Experience in the food, beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle industry
  • Background working with small businesses or founder-led brands
  • Understanding of e-commerce and customer engagement strategies
  • Experience with storytelling-driven brands or personal branding
  • Familiarity with current social media trends and consumer behavior
  • Experience working with culturally inspired or niche products
