About the Role:

The Social Media & Marketing Virtual Assistant will support brand visibility, content distribution, and audience growth across multiple business initiatives. This role is execution-focused, with an emphasis on transforming ideas, content, and existing materials into consistent marketing output across digital platforms.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building marketing systems from scratch, organizing scattered content into structured workflows, and contributing ideas rather than simply following instructions. The role requires comfort working across multiple brands or projects under one founder and the ability to adapt as priorities evolve.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Marketing Execution

  • Plan and manage weekly marketing activities across multiple platforms
  • Publish and schedule social media content consistently
  • Repurpose existing materials into marketing assets such as short clips, posts, and written content
  • Support organic growth and brand visibility initiatives

Content Management

  • Organize and maintain digital assets including videos, images, and documents
  • Assist with basic content editing coordination and posting
  • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across platforms

Social Media and Audience Growth

  • Set up social media accounts from scratch and support initial launches and first posts
  • Manage and update active social media accounts
  • Monitor engagement and respond to basic comments or messages as instructed
  • Track basic performance metrics and engagement trends

General Marketing Support

  • Assist with marketing-related research and idea generation
  • Coordinate with external vendors or platforms when needed
  • Support additional marketing initiatives as priorities evolve

🎯 Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or social media management
  • Comfort building marketing workflows and systems from the ground up
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision

Tools and Platforms Experience

  • Experience managing platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Familiarity with content scheduling tools
  • Basic understanding of video or content editing workflows
  • Comfort working with Google Workspace or similar productivity tools
