About the Role:
- The Account Manager will own the client relationship after sign-up and throughout the full engagement lifecycle
- This role serves as the central point of communication between clients, recruiters, and internal teams
- The position focuses on client satisfaction, follow-through, expectation setting, and identifying opportunities to expand accounts through additional services
- This is a high-impact role with commission incentives tied directly to upsells and overall client success
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients after sign-up
- Communicate hiring timelines, milestones, and deliverables clearly and consistently
- Ensure clients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout the hiring process
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients and internal teams to prevent delays or missed actions
- Collect, document, and relay client feedback on candidates and recruitment progress
- Work closely with recruiters to align on client needs, priorities, and expectations
- Proactively identify issues and escalate when necessary to ensure fast resolution
- Build long-term client relationships and understand future hiring needs
- Identify opportunities to offer additional services aligned with client goals
- Present solutions and close upsells, earning commission on successful conversions
- Educate clients on best practices for working with virtual assistants
- Set clear expectations around communication, response times, and deliverables
🎯 Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a client-facing role such as Account Manager, Account Executive, or Customer Success Manager
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-first mindset
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality
- Experience in recruitment, staffing, or HR-related services is a plus
- Familiarity with virtual assistants and global talent markets (Philippines, LATAM, Africa) is an advantage
